Week 7 Friday Flower

Little bit more work and time but worth the effort I think...

Two tone centre and a two tone petal or make the petal all one colour like the white flower below.

Two flowers in one maybe?

A daisy and a frilly edge flower.

PATTERN

USA Terms, 4mm hook, I used a 50% Bamboo 50% Cotton yarn.

Ch 4, sl st into a circle

R1: Col.1. 12 dc, into the circle, sl st to complete round. (12sts)

R2: Col. 2 Darker shade of first colour. 2sc in each st, sl st to complete round. (24sts)

R3: Col 2. 1sc in each st, sl st to complete round. (24sts)

R4: Col 3 start in any stitch, ch2, 2dc in next 3 st, ch 2 sl st into next st, repeat until 6 petals have been formed, sl st to complete round

R5: Col 4. rows 5 and 6 are worked on each petal individually

Attach yarn in the top of the first st, sc in the next 6 sts (7sc)

R6: same colour turn and work back along the top of the petal

ch3, sl st into next st, repeat 4 more times, sl st to complete row. (5 loops)

Leave enough yarn to sew off each petal end.

Make in 3 colours or a tonal centre and petal in 4 colours.
